Image Capture using the Web camera

Image capture from arbitrary sources is one of the features enabled by the connection module, which is the black, oval-shaped box connected to the camera.

Here is the manual for the connection module.

To do arbitrary image capture:

1. Connect a BNC cable from a camera to the BNC input on the side of the connection module.

2. In the web interface, go to the setup page, select System Options, then Advanced, then Plain config.

3. On the Plain config page, select ImageSource from the selection menu, then set the ImageSource IO Video Connector to BNC.

Once the input is set to BNC, all the web interface features can be used with the new image -- including snapshot.

Set ImageSource IO Video Connector back to YC to set the web interface back to the web camera.
